Great stuff for practice.

Just one piece of information that has helped me while studing fills combining hands/feet:

Thinking as straight single stroke 16 notes we would have R L R L, right?

So if we remove one of those notes and place a kick the tendency is to follow the pattern. If we remove a R, next note would be a L.

For example, the first group of 16’s on exercise 2 would be: R L K L in instead of R L K R.

I got that idea while styding the book “Encyclopedia of Double Bass Drum”, and it really helps to improve muscle memory since, following the idea, there’s a hand placement for each note – thinking on single strokes.
