Glad to hear there is another baby boomer just starting the drums. Thought maybe I was crazy! I started at 68 years old and am a female. But like you, always want to be able to play them. Now I have a 9 piece drum kit! One thing off of my “bucket list”! Not very good, but having fun!!!
